Etching
Etching gives the bottle an opaque frosted appearance and modifies the feel of the surface. There are two techniques that can achieve this objective, one would be the sandblasting and the other is by immersing the bottle in a bath of fluoride acid. Either etching techniques can be total or partial surface by applying a mask in selected areas in order to achieve a unique design. The mode of bottle decorating can be greatly enhanced by incorporating screen-printing techniques.
